Working at Centre for Dentistry

How do I apply to work at CFD?

Once you’ve selected a team you’d like to work in, you can find out more about the types of roles on offer, the benefits of working at CFD and the opportunity to apply for current vacancies. Click on the ‘apply’ button on the individual vacancy or click on ‘Join Our Team’ to enter our talent pool and submit your CV.

Can you relocate within CFD?

We have 24 practices across the UK so we are sometimes able to offer a transfer to another location if your circumstances change or you want to take on a fresh challenge.

Are CFD practices fully private?

Yes – we do not offer any NHS treatment.

Can EU Citizens apply for work at CFD?

Yes of course! If you are living in the UK you will need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme if you want to continue living here after 31 December 2020. You can apply for the scheme from late 2018 and you have until 30 June 2021 to make an application.

Training and Development

Do you have a training and development programme?

At CFD we want you to be more than an employee, we want you to grow as a person and develop your career so training is a focus for us. We want to offer you the opportunity to be the very best you can be. Our three-tiered training and development programme is called GEMS. The GEM displayed on each employee’s uniform reflects their progress through our internal training scheme. We also offer all our employees the chance to gain nationally-recognised qualifications while they are working with us.

Is there progression within CFD?

Yes! We want to promote internally whenever possible. We have Front of House staff who have progressed to Practice Manager roles. Practice Managers who are now Area Managers, Patient Care Coordinators who are now part of our central marketing team. There are no limits if you have the will and the skill!
